It is finally here!!!
Now, I am no video guru, but I put together a little something from my South West trip. I am really excited to share it with you all!
We had such a fun time on this trip and we were so lucky and blessed that it went so perfect and smooth. I had a lot of fun putting all of our cottage together for this, and I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!
The Zion section is last, and unfortunately we only stayed in Zion for the night so I wasn’t able to capture what I wanted. BUT. We are currently planning a Zion trip for August! So, I am super excited. If you have been to Zion, drop down in the comments your favorite places to stay, hikes, places to eat, etc. I want to know it all!

While traveling, I try not to be biased and pick a ‘favorite’ thing because I want to make sure I am constantly feeling all of it. However, IF I *had* to pick a favorite day, it was definitely our adventure down into Antelope Canyon and walking the edge of Horseshoe Bend.
Picking up where I left off. Sedona. Red Rocks. Good food & sunsets.

Sometimes you need to slow down. Sometimes you just need to pack up an go. Sometimes, it is both; and that is exactly what we did.
I am so beyond excited to share with you all our little South West adventure. I cannot do the awestruck and immense beauty of the sights we saw, but I am going to try! You can follow me through the next few installments for a daily adventure and photo diary. At the end, I am going to share with you our little video of our adventures as well.
We all have those products that we just go gaga over when they work magical wonders. I would definitely call most of these my ‘holy grail’ products since they are the ones I have restocked multiple times, and always have on my person.
Of course I love testing out new products and finding amazing new ones at that, but it’s just like your core group of friends; they always there for you, girl.
I have struggled with the perfect words to say for this; I realized that there are no perfect words, only feelings, beautiful memories and pure love and joy to share with all of you.

There is something about a lovely stack of books that is just oh so appealing. With a fresh stack of books on my desk I can’t help but smile. Spring is finally here and I am going to introduce some lovely, colorful and blooming (literally) books that you absolutely need on your Spring reading list! Excited to share my Spring reading list with you, plus a little somethin’ somethin’ at the end. <3
Rach & Charlie grew up.
I am elated to announce that Rach & Charlie is now The R|S Edit. In the recent months I really stood back and took a look at my blog, my brand and what I want to be.
Rach & Charlie was created when I created Charlie Knolls. Charlie Knolls was my pen name. I no longer need a pen name because I am comfortable enough to be my authentic self. Charlie Knolls is still a part of me; however, I no longer feel the need to sign off on things as Charlie.
The R|S Edit is going to encompass all things that I love, including more personal posts. I think it is really important to experience life as authentically as possible, and that is what I aim to do here. Of course there will still be beauty, food and travel posts, because that is what I love. I want to continue to share everything I love with you and I hope you are here to stay.

Oh, Dark Matter. Where to even begin. Honestly though, this book was wild. At one point I was actually saying out loud ‘dude…what!’ while death gripping my hair at the scalp. It was going to be one of those books.
Created in the dark and beautifully dramatic mind of Blake Crouch, Dark Matter is a thrilling and brilliant science fiction novel that explores the duality of multi-verses. It is a fast paced roller coaster through worlds that manifest from your thoughts and emotions, your ‘what if’s’ and unknown paths. And in turn, unknowingly, creating nightmarish worlds that pull you away from your reality. You are taken on a wild ride, whipped through many Chicago-esque landscapes while you follow Jason’s desperate attempts to reconnect with his universe.
But, let’s take it back for a second before things get to that ‘Oh Damn’ moment (and let me tell you, they start right away).
Jason. Average middle aged dude. Beautiful family. Living a ‘normal’ life. I use normal loosely because Jason ‘1’ does live a normal life, until the 32 other Jason’s show up. Never the less! Jason is a college physics professor living in the ‘burbs of Chicago. In his mind, a very average life. In his wife, Daniella’s eyes, a very average life. This story plays on the idea of the what if’s and the forks in the road. Well, what if I decided to not have a kid. What if I decided to turn left rather than right. Jason learns how dangerous it is to think that way.
Hold up. You see how this book is literally an ‘at the edge of your seat’ book? Not yet? Just wait…
